Led by the Office of Institutional Diversity, the University of Georgia will be hosting a day-long event: Movimiento Latino, a visitation program. Hispanic/Latinx identifying admitted students will receive an email invitation to participate.

The North Oconee Lacrosse team is having a great start to the season as they are currently 6-1. The Titans are filling the void that they lost in the cutshort 2020 season.

The Georgia Milestones are coming up and it seems like things are heading back to normal. This school year, testing will be done in person. This assessment system is designed to provide information about how well students have learnt in state core curriculars: English language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies.

For Oconee County students in-person instruction has always been an option but now Athens-Clarke students have been granted the opportunity to come back to campus for full-time face-to-face learning 5 days a week. Athens-Clarke county has been gradually leaning towards going full-time to in-person instruction. On Monday, all CCSD administrators, teachers, and staff reported to their school/department.

Undocumented families and individuals are not included in the group of American members that have received a “stimulus check” for $1200 plus $500 for children under 16 under the U.S. CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security) Act.
